No one is excited about it, but making a few alterations to what you eat and when to eat will have tremendous impacts on your health and wellness. There are many different “diets” out there, but what I teach isn’t a “diet”; it is an easy change in lifestyle with plenty of health and quality of life rewards.

So many rules, so many things I’ve never heard of, and my grandma certainly did not make this recipe! It’s ok. I’m with you. You do not want to count calories; you do not want to weigh your food. Let’s begin with Paleo. If a caveman didn’t eat it, neither should you! If you’re a meat-lover, then you’re in the right place. However, it would be best to let go of all things “grain” related. The good news is this; there are no counting calories! Have meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, local veggies, and seeds. But do it right! Paleo does include meat, but make sure what is on your plate is primarily greens, and the meat or protein is a side dish. Around 4 oz. Meat serving size should be the same size as the palm of your hand, no more.
Auto-Immune Paleo is a little pickier than Paleo alone. This diet focuses on nutrient-dense foods like organ meats, seafood, seeds, fruits, and veggies. This diet may work best for people who have an autoimmune disease and need to avoid foods that hurt their gut and cause inflammation. The goal of the Autoimmune Paleo Diet is to flood the body with nutrients while avoiding foods that may be interfering with the body’s ability to heal and stop autoimmune attacks on the body.
The Keto Diet is a very low-carb diet. The body turns fat into ketones for use as energy. Fat increases fat-burning power and reduces hunger. In short, the Keto Diet is high fat, low carb, and moderate protein. We can teach this to you or teach you ways to UP the fat-burning ability in your body so fat tends to fall off. YAY!
A Gluten-Free diet is for people reacting negatively to the protein in wheat called “gluten.” People with autoimmune diseases or severe illnesses seem to improve when they give up gluten and other problematic proteins that react negatively to the body. For some, even other grains like corn, rice, oat, etc. “act” like gluten in the body, so some people do best on a grain-free, not just a gluten-free diet.
