Why You May Need a Lyme Test
A Lyme disease test kit can be helpful if you’ve potentially been exposed to tick habitats or if you’re experiencing unexplained symptoms that could align with Lyme disease, especially if you live or have traveled in areas where Lyme disease is common. Here’s why it might be worth considering:
Early Detection of Lyme Disease: Lyme disease is caused by Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria, typically spread by black-legged ticks (also called deer ticks). The earlier it’s detected, the easier it is to treat and manage effectively. Symptoms can be vague at first, often mimicking the flu, but they can progress if untreated.
Symptoms Can Be Misleading: Lyme disease symptoms vary widely, from fatigue, headaches, and muscle pain to more severe issues like joint pain, neurological problems, and heart-related symptoms if it becomes chronic. Some people do not remember being bitten, so it’s helpful to rule out Lyme disease if you have any persistent symptoms.
Confidential and Convenient: At your initial appointment, we will discuss your Lyme test options. Lyme test results are reviewed, in detail at your follow up. At this time you will be given a personalized protocol based on your symptoms and test results. If medical treatment is wanted and needed, we are happy to refer you to one or our medical doctors. (We work in person near Atlanta, GA and virtual, so we can run a thorough Lyme test anywhere you are).
Prevention of Chronic Complications: If left untreated, Lyme disease can cause long-term health issues that affect joints, the nervous system, the heart and more.

I have personally battled Lyme Disease since the 1980’s. I struggled to walk for almost ten years. A comprehensive Lyme Disease test finally showed what was wrong with my health.
I used a variety of natural remedies to get better (herbals, dietary adjustments, gut healing, hormone balance).
I am ILAD’s trained and 100% Lyme Literate. I offer 1-on-1 online and in-person appointments Monday – Friday 9-4 EST.
My Lyme Test Atlanta GA protocols have the ability to detect antibodies that your immune system produces in response to the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria and all of the co-infections. I understand and believe you, and your symptoms.

In-Person & Virtual Appointments
Our Lyme disease test kits detect antibodies that your immune system produces in response to the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria and many Lyme co-infections. (Bartonella, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, Rickettsia, etc.) People having one or many co-infections usually come in exhibiting worse symptoms than Borrelia alone.
These antibodies are typically detectable within a few weeks after infection, although timing can vary. Here’s a breakdown of what Lyme test kits usually look for:
- IgM antibodies are typically detectable within the first few weeks of infection and indicate recent exposure.
- IgG antibodies appear a bit later, usually a month after infection, and persist longer. A high level of IgG antibodies can indicate a more prolonged infection or past exposure.Antibodies (IgM and IgG)
