Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis is an autoimmune condition that many people suffer from. Some of the people dealing with autoimmunity have infections and / or inflammation which may lead to the autoimmune issue. There are several ways to help a person that has an autoimmune-like Hashimoto’s. Supporting the immune system and reducing inflammation may help.

One easy way to help the person’s immune system is with oxygen therapy. When you increase the oxygenation of the immune system, it may help kill off bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc that may be contributing to the autoimmunity. Hyperbaric oxygen can reduce inflammation, balance the immune system, increase energy levels and improve brain function.

Other ways to help someone with Hashimoto’s is by improving their diet. We like referring people to the autoimmune paleo type diet when there is autoimmunity against the thyroid gland.

I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto’s many years ago. I remember the struggle like it was yesterday! I had weight gain, hair loss, brain fog and a lot of trouble sleeping. Once I started to support my immune system better, including learning how hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help and I adjusted my diet, I began to see the antibodies go down in lab testing. Plus my systems started to go away!

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help a vast number of symptoms and conditions. It is worth a try in supporting people with Hashimoto’s! Oxygen therapy can be extremely beneficial to almost anyone! It is just 1 hour 1-2x a week. You can take a nap, read, pray, sing, talk on your phone or play a game on your IPAD while your body is receiving oxygen therapy.
