Some researchers seem to think that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may be a result of a virus such as Epstein-Barr virus but there has not been enough research to make this definite. Chronic Fatigue is severe and it affects many people in a way that goes way beyond feeling “just” tired. Individuals who have Chronic Fatigue are so run down that they are sometimes not able to function normally and may be too weak to get out of bed, while others can not perform at work or home and may experience debilitating pain and flu-like symptoms.

Chronic fatigue often goes misdiagnosed. At other times, people who are not able to sleep are put on antidepressants or other medications to help them sleep. An individual who suffers from chronic fatigue will never feel well rested no matter how much sleep they get. Here is a look at some common symptoms of chronic fatigue.

Chronic Fatigue Symptoms
Headaches
Tender lymph nodes
Sore throat
Muscle pain
Joint pain
Feeling tired
Feeling discomfort after physical exertion
Irritability
Anxiety
Trouble concentrating / brain fog

With symptoms like those, no wonder people are being misdiagnosed and possibly given medications that do not work or may be causing more symptoms! This is a miserable way to go through life, and my heart breaks for those who have Chronic Fatigue. Some do not know what to do or do not even know that they actually DO have Chronic Fatigue.

The Real Cause of Chronic Fatigue
The real reason for Chronic Fatigue just might be the adrenals. When the adrenals are fatigued, it will cause the very symptoms listed above. Adrenals can be supported, and this can be done Naturally! Of course, one will have to make some dietary or lifestyle adjustments, which if you have chronic fatigue, believe me, you will be willing to make these just to feel normal again. Most people who suffer from chronic fatigue will most likely be in a habit to drink caffeinated beverages (for the energy of course), but they must not because doing so only stresses the adrenals more.

Another cause of chronic fatigue is an underlying infection that has been been found. If there has been some kind of lingering infection, this alone can lead to the adrenals being burnt out and thus the person is burnt out too.

At our clinic, located in Roswell, GA we can get to the root cause of chronic fatigue and get you on the path to having improved energy and thus an improved quality of life!
