Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy aka HBOT is one amazing, incredibly curious therapy! I have to admit, it was a bit intimidating for me when I joined the team at Nutritionally Yours. But as I’ve become more familiar with HBOT and the people who enjoy this therapy each week it’s obvious The Benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy seem to be endless. People with any issue, from sports injuries, pain, inflammation, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Stroke, Skin Disorder, Autism, Lyme Disease to Parkinson’s Disease, or athletes wanting to improve their performance, can enjoy the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber.
So what exactly happens inside this big tube of oxygen? Hyperbaric delivers ambient pressure, like being 11 feet under water! It’s like a bottle of soda, the CO2 or carbon dioxide gas bubbles are under pressure, which decreases the size of the bubbles so much that they dissolve into the soda. At that point, we can’t see the bubbles. But when the pressure is released, the volume of each bubble increases and the bubbles appear! When a person is under pressure, the oxygen molecules decrease in size and are able to dissolve into the blood plasma.
This exponentially increases oxygen delivery throughout the body and makes it possible for oxygen to reach inflamed tissue and support optimal cellular and organ functionality! Other benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber are the stimulation of stem cell production, decrease in swelling and inflammation and promotes regeneration of injured tissues as well as increasing healing time.
